Calamine - A preparation of zinc oxide and iron oxide applied as an ointment, lotion, or dusting powder to relieve skin irritation and itching.
Calamine may be combined with a local anaesthetic (see anaesthesia, local), a corticosteroid drug, or an antihistamine drug.
