Buphthalmos

Buphthalmos - A large, prominent eyeball in an infant as a result of increased pressure inside the eyeball due to congenital glaucoma.

Treatment of the condition usually involves surgery to reduce the pressure, otherwise the child’s sight is progressively damaged.
