Berry aneurysm
Berry aneurysm - An abnormal swelling that occurs at the junction of arteries supplying the brain. Berry aneurysms, which are usually due to a congenital weakness, can sometimes rupture, resulting in a subarachnoid haemorrhage. (See also aneurysm.)
